A new look Legends page where we will feature news and reviews of the stars that have left there mark in the genre,so from the likes of Jackie Chan to Sammo Hung and Lam Ching-Ying to Donnie Yen ,Bruce Lee and a few names you may have forgot.If there making films still we will give the lowdown on their latest and if they have retired or passed on we will look at their past works and lay tribute to them 

With so many new films going on and being announced it's hard to find all the relevant material .but any how with new posters for some new films on Legends 1 and some info on coming films below from Jackie's Little Big Soldier to Chow Yun Fat's Confucius .It's going to get busy around here.

Yuen Woo Ping's True Legnd with Jay Chou,Vincent Zhao Zhou,Michele Yeoh,David Carradine and Gorden Liu is the story of Begger so retold.Looks awesome as all Woo Ping's films do.

Another new Fight flick set in modern day is Fist of the Dragon ,check out below.

Donnie Yen stars in 14 Blades directed by Daniel Lee and also starring Vicki Zhao.Based on a story from the Ming Dynasty ,this looks like heart pounding stuff.

Michelle yeoh is set to star in a new martial arts flick called JianYu Jiang Hu (Chinese Title) She plays a retired assassin ,who has to confront a Gang leaders from a assassin gang .The film is directed by Su Chao-Bin from Taiwan.Plus it is produced by John Woo and Terance Chang.

Other news is that there is going to be a prequel to Ip-Man that will be released prior to Ip-Man 2 .But the unusual thing is the only people from the first two involved are the producers.No sign of Donnie,Sammo or Yip Wai Shun.The film will focus on early days and will be portrayed by Wing Chun practitioner To Yu Hang and will be directed by Herman Yau.It seems Yip Wai Shun wants to concentrate on the post production of IP 2.

Jackie seems so busy of late,he's just wrapped The Kung Fu Kid with Jadan Smith.On top of this The Spy Next Door gets a release in the New Year ,Jackie plays a babysitter who ends up fighting assassins and agents when one of the kids downloads a secret government code.Film also stars Billy Ray Cyrus and is directed by Brain Levant.Poster below plus trailer.

Now on top of this Jackie has just announced a New film 'New Shaolin Temple which will star apart from himself in the role of a Temple senior monk The mighty Andy Lau Tak Wah,Nicholas Tse and Fan Bing Bing.Directed by Benny Chan who directed Chan before in Who am i and the more recent New Police Story.Action choreography by Corey Yuen Kwei,one of his old class mates.This should be Awesome to see Chan in this role set in the early 1900's.It was originally thought Jet Li would have the role as he starred in the Original Shaolin Temple all those years ago.Even though the story is similar this film is set more up to date then the previous film and it's sequels.

So this is the poster for the new Jackie film which he stars with LeeHom Wang.Jackie plays a soldier from a opposing army who captures a general and sets about getting him back to his base. 

On other Jackie news he just finished a film in China called Looking for Jackie Chan about a young Wushu student who goes to Beijing to look for his Idol.Poster below.

So what's in the pipeline for LEGENDS well the Sonny Chiba section will go live soon and more info on Cynthia Rothrock will be added.On top of this A small feature on the late great Lam Ching-Ying and a look at FIST of FURY the whole story ,by which i mean a complete overview of Fist of Fury with Bruce Lee as well as the two sequels with Bruce Li (Ho Chung Tao) a look at New Fist of Fury with Jackie Chan and Fist of Fury 1991 with Stephen Chow Sing Chi and rounding it off Fist of Legend with Jet Li.So it looks like i will be busy watching some films.So keep your eyes peeled or your miss all the action.
