Taekwondo Women's 57kg Shock as Jones out in First Round

Hi all back again with more news , this time in the Taekwondo as Welsh two time Olympic Champion Jade Jones representing Team GB gets eliminated in the first round of the Women's 57kg tournament.
Up against Kimia Alizadeh of the refugee team who resides in Germany but cannot as yet represent the country took out the two time Olympic champion as the shocked GB team looked on .
Having watched the bout you could tell the two time champion was having a tough time as the fiesty Young Kimia brought the batttle on .
There was even some controversey in the bout as well regarding points scored towards the end as both fighters clashed in a point for point battle which ended up on the floor at the edge of the matt for both parties.
Anyway Congrats to Kimia who had to flee her homeland and through struggles has made it to the Olympic games and has given one of the biggest upsets of the Taekwondo so far.
It was obvious this games would be different as training regimes have been disturbed due to covid and those younger upcoming stars of sport what ever the disapline have had a extra year to get ready and it's showing that nothing is certain at this Olympics as there's a new breed of Olympian in town and the regulars better beware.
