November 2nd sees the London Korean Film Festival return; the opening film is The Journey to Gyeong-ju, a Black comedy about three adult daughters out on a pilgrimage. It's a mix of styles with criminal undertones.
In between, until the 16th November, there are several films showing of various genres at the BFI Southbank, Cine Lumiere and the ICA.
The closing Gala on 16 November is Park Hoon-jung's thriller Tristes Tropiques. Starring Lee Sin-young. We will be attending this film; whether we will get to any of the others is still uncertain.
A feature review will be up on site following the screening.
